Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between H Y Kwon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georg the Caliph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwon comes to the cage accompanied by TY$ - All Star. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, H Y Kwon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Georg the Caliph!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from the Caliph.

and Kwon counters by clinching up.
Kwon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kwon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A bit of stalling here from Kwon.

Kwon is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. the Caliph is defending well for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kwon throws a strike but the Caliph rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kwon is going oldschool here, as he tries to force the Caliph to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so the Caliph shrugs it off.
Kwon jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… the Caliph is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by the Caliph and Kwon has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

the Caliph is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kwon off and has taken his back!

Kwon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from the Caliph enables Kwon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. the Caliph manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kwon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kwon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. the Caliph swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kwon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, the Caliph has escaped the position, nice work there.
the Caliph gets back to half guard.
the Caliph is trying to stand up here but Kwon is controlling him well.

Kwon is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and the Caliph reverses the position - he's now on top in Kwon's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kwon has his foot on the Caliph's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. the Caliph works his way back into a safe position though.

Well Kwon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
