Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Morse Hores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Hores.
Hores stalks Durant and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Durant's face. Durant staggers backwards, shaken.
Hores blocks a head kick by Durant.
Hores wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hores throws a leg kick but Durant checks it.
Durant misses with a double jab
and Hores counters with a right hand to the body.
Hores looks to land a combination but Durant avoids it well.
Durant throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hores counters with a left and a right that stings Durant.
Durant thows a leg kick but Hores checks it
and Hores counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Hores looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Durant throws a nice looking combination but Hores bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kevin Durant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Durant gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Hores lands a left and a right that sends Durant crashing to the canvas! Hores dives into mount looking to finish!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hores postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Durant looks a forlorn figure.
Durant is still in real trouble! Can Hores finish him?
Hores lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Durant is desperately trying to improve his position but Hores has a good base and remains in mount.
Durant seems to have recovered his senses.
Durant is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Durant defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hores.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hores tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Hores has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hores trying to control but Durant is having none of it.
Durant tries to hold on but Hores pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Durant is bucking up trying to escape but Hores cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Durant can do anything to dispel that myth.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Durant tries to hold on but Hores pushes him away.
Hores has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Durant's face.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hores lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Durant throws a low kick but Hores moves out of range easily.
Durant stuns Hores with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hores lands a head shot.
Hores swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Durant.
Hores connects with a right hand. Durant shakes it off.
Durant throws a poor cross that misses
and Hores cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hores displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Durant throws out the jab.
Durant dodges the punch combination from Hores.
Durant tried to score with a low kick but Hores checks it.
Hores scores with a hook to the body. Durant takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hores is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Durant can do to turn this around?
Durant is breathing heavily.

Hores connects with a nice looking jab.
Hores catches Durant with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Morse Hores is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hores goes for a small jab and connects. Now Hores goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Durant stumbles back but Hores runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Durant to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Durant will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
