Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Ninguem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Murakami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninguem throws a head kick but Murakami moves out of range.
Murakami shoots in and bounces Ninguem off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ninguem wants to stand up but Murakami is controlling him.
Murakami wants to control from the top but Ninguem keeps moving.
Murakami wanted to stand there but Ninguem had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ninguem is looking to stand up but Murakami isn't so interested in that idea.

Murakami tries to free his leg and advance position but Ninguem is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Murakami accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Murakami postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ninguem is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Murakami, into his guard.
Murakami has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ninguem is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Murakami.
Murakami is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Murakami is trying to control Ninguem's posture but Ninguem avoids it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ninguem looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Murakami counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ninguem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ninguem fails with the takedown
and Murakami counters with a takedown into side control.
Murakami is trying to move to mount but Ninguem reverses beautifully and ends up in Murakami's guard.

Renato Murakami showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Ninguem throws a series of punches but Murakami avoids them all with ease.
Murakami decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Ninguem is bucking up trying to escape but Murakami cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Murakami throws some wild stikes that Ninguem manages to avoid easily.
Murakami looking to control but Ninguem is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Murakami cracks Ninguem with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Murakami can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ninguem is looking to escape.
Murakami looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Ninguem avoids a series of strikes thrown by Murakami.
Ninguem tries to buck Murakami off but he can't manage it.
Ninguem trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Ninguem stops Murakami from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Ninguem goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
