Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Strike Hard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Distor Centura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Distor Centura has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Distor Centura!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Centura tries to clinch there but Strike Hard circles away.
Centura changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Strike Hard tries to avoid it but Centura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Strike Hard to the ground. Strike Hard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Strike Hard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Centura to the mat! Centura manages to get full guard.
Strike Hard throwing strikes but missing.
Strike Hard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Centura on the ground.
Centura looking for a sweep. Not yet Centura, not yet.
Centura thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Strike Hard decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Centura tries to clinch there but Strike Hard circles away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Strike Hard.
Centura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strike Hard paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Strike Hard swats away the attempt to clinch by Centura.
Centura moves in looking to clinch but Strike Hard pushes him off.
Centura tries to clinch but Strike Hard is having none of it.

so Strike Hard counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Centura looking to hit a scissor sweep but Strike Hard is one step ahead there.

Centura has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Strike Hard is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Centura.
Strike Hard cracks Centura with a big right hand but Centura just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Centura is looking for a sweep.

I wouldn't like to be where Centura is right now.
Centura tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Centura manages to work his way to half guard, despite Strike Hard's best efforts.

Strike Hard is working for an americana but Centura has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Strike Hard was thinking about the submission.
Centura tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Strike Hard is breathing heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Centura tries to strike from the bottom.
Centura seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Centura has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Strike Hard off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Centura shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Centura drives through with a takedown into guard.
Centura in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Centura looking to sit in guard and control but Strike Hard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Strike Hard's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Centura bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Strike Hard's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

James Strike Hard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Centura might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Strike Hard kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Strike Hard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Strike Hard counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Strike Hard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Centura pulls guard successfully.
Centura is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Centura scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Centura tries to clinch but Strike Hard is having none of it.

Centura closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Centura lands in his opponent's guard.
Centura would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Centura wants to pass the guard but Strike Hard is keeping the position.
Strike Hard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Strike Hard tries to get out of the position.

Centura gets to his feet. Strike Hard looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Strike Hard takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Centura closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Centura slips a nice elbow through Strike Hard's hands, connecting with Strike Hard's forehead.

Centura is looking to take a break and control but Strike Hard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Centura throws a body punch but Strike Hard moves out of range.

and Centura counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Strike Hard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Centura's guard.
Distor Centura has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Centura throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Strike Hard escapes and throws Centura's legs to the side, diving into side control!
