Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Dos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Mack the knife. Sam Dos Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Dos Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Sergio Garcia! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab lands there for Silva. Silva misses with a hook. Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Garcia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Garcia bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Sam Dos Silva has been cut. Silva swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Silva looks to land a left hand but Garcia moved out of range nicely. Garcia listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Garcia displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab. Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Garcia jabbing away but nothing is landing. Silva takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Silva throws a head kick but Garcia moves out of range.
Nice cross by Garcia. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garcia circles away quickly and effectively. Garcia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Garcia postures up in Silva's guard and throws a big left but Silva blocks it. Silva is trying to keep Garcia in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia throws a strike but Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Silva has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Garcia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard. Garcia pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silva is keeping the position for now. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Garcia is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Garcia loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Garcia content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Garcia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Silva avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Garcia is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Garcia has managed to sneak the leg through. Garcia thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head. Silva trying to control from the bottom.
Garcia lands with a punch from half guard. Silva is looking for a sweep. Garcia is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Garcia is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Silva reverses the position - he's now on top in Garcia's guard. Garcia wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Silva is fighting to break Garcia's control of his arms but Garcia is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Silva wants to stand but Garcia is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Garcia controls Silva momentarily but Silva frees himself.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Garcia will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Silva is looking to score with low kicks. Garcia scores with a hook. Garcia misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
Silva throws a series of punches but Garcia moves out of range. Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Garcia. A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Garcia does a little dance to reset his feet. Garcia scores with a jab to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Garcia connects with a looping right hand.
Garcia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Garcia decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergio Garcia dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sam Dos Silva's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving. Silva pushes Garcia up against the cage in a clinch. Silva tries to pull guard but Garcia won't allow it.
Garcia pulls guard effortlessly. Garcia is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Garcia seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt. Silva trying to control here.
Garcia decides to return to a standing position. Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A big right from Silva misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Silva misses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Garcia, as that shot connected.
Garcia throws a quick inside leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Garcia lands a nice hook to Silva's body. Silva takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Silva lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Garcia slips a jab from Silva. Garcia lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Garcia lands with a shot to the body. Garcia scores with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A punch lands to the side of Silva 's head but he takes it in his stride. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Garcia.
Silva is rocked! Garcia connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Garcia cracks Silva with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Silva tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Garcia pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Silva is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergio Garcia!
