The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws a right and a left that Da Silva avoids nicely.
Da Silva lands a nice looking body shot.
Rogers avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rogers works Da Silva's body with a nice hook.
Da Silva misses with a kick to the body.
Da Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rogers's waist but Rogers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Da Silva off to one side.

Rogers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rogers wants it to stay on the feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rogers crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Da Silva - the referee stops the clock and Rogers gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Da Silva. Rogers manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rogers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rogers rolls with it to try and escape but Da Silva cranks on the arm and Rogers is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
