The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Utevich lands a head shot.
Utevich scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Siet doesn't seem bothered though.
Siet takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Utevich darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Siet uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Utevich.
Siet shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Utevich but Utevich pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Siet bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Utevich is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Siet asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Siet postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Siet in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Utevich is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Utevich can do anything to dispel that myth.
Siet grinds an elbow into Utevich's temple.

Utevich pushes Siet away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Siet gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Siet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Utevich keeps working.
Utevich is working to avoid the ground and pound but Siet connects with a decent elbow.

Siet wants to control but Utevich is keeping him busy.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Utevich avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Siet.
Utevich is trying to buck Siet off.
Siet lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Siet tries to move to mount but Utevich blocks the move with his legs.

Siet cracks Utevich with a big elbow.
Utevich wants to get back to his feet.
Utevich looks gassed!

Siet has an Americana. Utevich didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Siet is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Siet hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
