Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Lice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teuvo Loman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loman has chosen Teuvo Loman - Helsinki City Boy as his entrance music. Kimbo Lice has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loman misses with a wild body shot.
Lice throws a right hand that Loman ducks under and follows up with a left that Loman also avoids with ease.
Loman slips a straight right by Lice.
Loman swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Loman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Loman tries to close the distance and clinch but Lice swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Loman takes one to the chin there.
Lice swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kimbo Lice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lice dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Loman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Lice throws a shot from downtown. Loman moves away and avoids it.
Lice takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Loman tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Loman misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Loman cracks Lice with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lice is rocked!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lice is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Loman jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lice manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lice throws a shot from downtown. Loman moves away and avoids it.
Loman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lice.

Loman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Loman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Loman prevents Lice from escaping the position.

Loman is landing with some decent strikes but Lice is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
