Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between matt wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Rentz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). wilson comes to the cage accompanied by bodies. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
wilson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Rentz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Rentz seems to be looking for submissions.

wilson kicks off Rentz and gets to his feet.
wilson tries to clinch there but Rentz circles away.
wilson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Rentz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Rentz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
wilson is looking to improve his position.

wilson is trying to stand back up but Rentz is controlling him
Rentz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
wilson is looking to control Rentz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can wilson avoid being mounted?
Rentz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
wilson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Brandon Rentz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Rentz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
wilson fails with the takedown

and Rentz counters with a single leg into guard. wilson didn't expect that.
Rentz stopping the sweep attempt from wilson.
wilson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rentz is controlling him.
Rentz passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rentz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and wilson defends it well.
Rentz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

wilson tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Rentz has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Rentz is working for a guillotine from mount but wilson frees his head quite easily.
Rentz scores with a couple of good head shots there.
wilson tries to hold on but Rentz postures up.

Rentz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as wilson is looking to escape.

Rentz looking to secure an arm triangle but wilson defends it well.
Rentz controlling the position easily from mount.
Rentz trying to control but he's not successful this time.

and Rentz counters with a shoot takedown. wilson fights it but they end up in guard.
wilson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
wilson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rentz controls the pace.
wilson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rentz on the ground.
wilson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rentz is one step ahead there.
wilson is looking to stand up but Rentz isn't so interested in that idea.
wilson wants to control the position but Rentz says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

wilson is looking to get back to is feet but Rentz passes into side control.
wilson wants to control but Rentz postures up.
Rentz cracks wilson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
A control attempt from wilson but he's now mounted!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rentz works his way to his opponent's back.
wilson trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Rentz throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting wilson!

Rentz looking to break wilson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. wilson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Rentz will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Rentz is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! wilson is tapping out! This one is all over!
