The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MT is looking to clinch but Niemeyer is avoiding it.
Niemeyer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Niemeyer or perhaps it was just good defense by MT which made him look bad.
Niemeyer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Niemeyer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but MT swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Niemeyer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Niemeyer tries to score a power double leg takedown but MT sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Niemeyer somewhat.

MT working the clinch nicely. Niemeyer is working for position but MT cracks him with a big knee to the head! Niemeyer crumples up against the cage and MT lands two more shots before the ref can save Niemeyer! This one is all over!
