PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirt Magurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taka Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka swings for the body but Magurt moves out of range.
Magurt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Tanaka counters with a nice uppercut.

Tanaka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tanaka throws an elbow but Magurt slips to the side and avoids it well.

Tanaka has gone for a leg lock! Magurt slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tanaka's guard.
