Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kekoa Kawai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Jofre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawai comes into the arena with Ace of Spades blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawai just misses with a punch to the body.
Jofre blocks a jab.
Kawai ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kawai misses with a series of wild punches.
Jofre walks into a stiff left hand from Kawai.
Kawai throws a hook but Jofre avoids it easily.
Kawai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jofre scores with a nice strike.
Kawai waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jofre.
Kawai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jofre moves away.
Kawai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kawai misses with the combination.
Kawai dips to his left and cracks Jofre with an uppercut!
The fighters circling - Kawai throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Jofre slips under a jab.
Kawai throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jofre tries to clinch there but Kawai circles away.
Kawai misses with a straight left.
Decent striking displayed by Kawai there.
Jofre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kawai wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kawai darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jofre is rocked!
A slow jab from Kawai misses its intended target.
Jofre is still on wobbly legs! Can Kawai finish him?
Jofre defending well as Kawai loads up on a big left hand.

Kawai thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kawai lands with a big right hook that stumbles Jofre - he's out on his feet here! Kawai follows up with another monster hook that separates Jofre from consciousness! Jofre falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kawai stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kekoa Kawai!
