Malaipet is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: CLASH - Crashing. Kaennor Malaipet will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Malaipet.
Malaipet throws a leg kick which misses Hunt's front leg but catches the back leg as Hunt tries to avoid it.
Malaipet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Malaipet throws a head kick but Hunt moves out of range.

Malaipet lands a big head kick that sends Hunt tumbling to the mat! Malaipet takes a step backwards and waves Hunt back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hunt is rocked!

It looks like Stephan Hunt has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt drops his hands momentarily. Malaipet doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hunt staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hunt doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
