Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Rising (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes to the cage accompanied by Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maximus Rising!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rising shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lesnar as he avoids it easily.

Rising bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lesnar tries to bench press Rising off him but Rising keeps the position.
Rising wants to control but Lesnar is keeping him busy.

Rising is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lesnar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Lesnar manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Lesnar wants to pass to mount but Rising is defending the position.
Lesnar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Lesnar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rising has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar is trying to control. Rising wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rising on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Rising moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Lesnar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rising's head.
Lesnar is looking to work some ground and pound but Rising has wrist control.
Rising avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lesnar with a nice head shot there.
Lesnar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lesnar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Lesnar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lesnar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Rising trying to control the position here.
Lesnar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rising's guard.
Lesnar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rising had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lesnar defends it easily.
Lesnar looking to pass the guard.
Lesnar preventing the sweep.
Lesnar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rising works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Lesnar postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lesnar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rising sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rising shoots for a double leg takedown but Lesnar sprawls well. He's pushed Rising's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rising darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lesnar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lesnar.
Lesnar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rising is one step ahead there.
Rising stays in close to Lesnar's body and controls the position.
Rising preventing the sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lesnar keeping moving, preventing Rising from controlling successfully.
Lesnar controlling Rising's posture.
Rising stopping the sweep attempt from Lesnar.

Rising drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rising jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lesnar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximus Rising.
Lesnar leaves Rising with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Lesnar. No joy for Rising on that attempt.
A shot to the liver by Lesnar. Beautiful body shot.
Rising looks gassed!
Lesnar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rising tries to move into range but Lesnar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Lesnar dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Lesnar moves in close and cracks Rising with a massive right hand! Rising, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Lesnar!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brock Lesnar!
