Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Braga.
Smith fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smith tries to clinch but Braga moves out of range.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Braga tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Braga to the ground. Braga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smith lands a high kick!
Smith throws a head kick but Braga moves out of range.
No joy there for Braga, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looks like Neil Smith has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith tries for a takedown but Braga sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Braga fails to land with a series of punches.
Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Braga pinned against the cage. Braga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Roman Braga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neil Smith.

Smith shoots in but no luck this time.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Braga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Braga throws the kick towards the body but Smith avoids it.

Braga avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Braga swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Neil Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Smith counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Braga wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position.

Smith controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Smith prevents Braga from getting back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Braga throws a low kick, looking for Smith's leg but Smith calmly moves out of range.
Braga scores with a sloppy right hand. Smith should have avoided that one.

Braga misses with a few strikes there.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Braga counters with an inside leg kick.
Braga digs a good body shot into Smith's ribs.
Braga's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Braga duly obliges.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Braga scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Braga is looking to slow Smith down with leg kicks.
Braga throws a solid leg kick but Smith takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Braga.

Smith is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Braga fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Smith sprawls well initially but Braga persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Smith is rocked!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Braga escapes and gets back to his feet.
Braga lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Smith can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Braga and Smith drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Braga.
