The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mama listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Elusive scores with a nice right hand.
Mama lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Elusive takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mama throws a series of strikes that have Elusive backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mama lands an overhand right.
Mama keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yama Mama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mama catches Elusive with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mama blocks a head kick by Elusive.
Mama scores with a nice strike.
Mama slips a jab and a cross from Elusive.
Mama lands a leg kick that knocks Elusive off balance momentarily.
Mama jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mama connects with a body shot.
Mama throws a leg kick which misses Elusive's front leg but catches the back leg as Elusive tries to avoid it.
Nice shot lands for Mama.
Mama lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Elusive throws an overhand right that lands on Mama's shoulder, as Mama tries to avoid the shot.
Mama connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Elusive tries to clinch up but Mama circles away and keeps his distance.
Elusive shoots for a takedown but Mama saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Elusive is breathing heavily.
Elusive is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Elusive throws out a leg kick but Mama moves out of range and Elusive only half commits.
Elusive takes a kick to the side of the head.
Elusive is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mama.
Elusive takes one to the chin there.
Mama lands a jab to Elusive's midsection.
Elusive takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mama fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Elusive looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Elusive closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mama's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mama duly obliges.
Elusive is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Mama has cracked Elusive with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Mama lands another huge swinging hook and Elusive tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Elusive, before Mama can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yama Mama!
