Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ghost Buster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ghost Buster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Cena!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cena throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Buster throws a head kick that Cena semi-blocks.


It looks like John Cena has been cut.
Buster tries to bum rush Cena with a series of wild strikes but Cena uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cena gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cena missing with knees to the body.

Cena has clasped his hands together around Buster's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Buster is looking to reverse the position.
Cena taking a breather here.

Cena tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Cena moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Buster is looking to regain half guard here but Cena keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cena wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Buster, who protects the arm well.
Buster is working to avoid the ground and pound but Cena connects with a decent elbow.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Buster tries to control but Cena manages to take his back.
Cena throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Buster turns into Cena and is now in his guard.
Buster wants to pass the guard but Cena is keeping the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Buster scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Buster dives in and grabs Cena's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cena pushes down on Buster's head and hops out.

Cena shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Cena is looking to take a break and control but Buster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Buster knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cena on the ground.
Buster wants to improve his position but Cena is controlling well.
Buster wants to control but Cena is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cena wants to take a breather but Buster is having none of it.
Buster makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Buster.

Buster wants to stand but Cena is controlling the position.
Cena not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cena trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Buster trying to strike off his back.
Cena preventing the sweep.
Cena working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Buster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Buster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but John Cena will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Cena closes the distance and pushes Buster back into the cage.
Buster has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cena avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Buster tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cena just stands there and leans against the cage.
Buster tries to score a body lock takedown but Cena shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ghost Buster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Buster jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cena walks away with a smile on his face. Buster gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cena closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cena lands in his opponent's guard.
Buster can't keep his opponent in guard - Cena advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Cena stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Buster to get to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cena throws a push kick but Buster slaps the foot to one side.
Buster lands a slapping body shot.

Cena fails with the takedown.
Buster tries for a takedown but Cena circles away easily
and Cena counters with a nice leg kick.

Cena closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Buster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cena wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Cena moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Buster is not content to let Cena control the position.

Buster struggling a bit here.
Cena sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Buster is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Buster manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Buster wants to control but Cena is keeping him busy.

Buster is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cena is looking to control Buster's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cena avoid being mounted?

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Cena gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Cena is pressed up against the cage. Buster has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cena down to the mat. Cena avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Buster misses with a few strikes there.

Cena moves into the clinch.

Cena breaks from the clinch.
Buster throws the kick towards the body but Cena avoids it.

Cena shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buster is trying to defend but Cena finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Cena escapes and gets back to his feet.

Cena scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cena is trying to control. Buster wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Buster closes the distance but Cena moves to the side

and Cena counters with a takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cena landing a few strikes.
Cena is looking to take a break and control but Buster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Buster is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Cena creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Buster is trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Cena showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Cena clinches up against the cage.
Cena lands a nice shot to the body.
Buster is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cena pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cena gets underhooks to prevent Buster's takedown attempt.
Buster avoiding damage as Cena throws knees to the body.

Cena has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Buster uses from the top position.
Cena looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Cena had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Buster defends it easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cena wants to sweep but no luck.

Buster is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cena is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cena has escaped and now he's on top!

Cena decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Buster is working to avoid the ground and pound but Cena connects with a decent elbow.

Cena thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on Buster's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cena in side control, throwing shots but Buster defends.
Buster wants to get back to his feet but Cena drags him back down.
Buster wants to control but Cena postures up.
Buster is being controlled here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Cena shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Buster's guard.

Buster controlling Cena's posture.
Cena stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buster swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cena wants to stand but Buster has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
John Cena has got the better of the ground game so far.
Cena trying to control but Buster is working from the bottom.
Cena is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Buster lands with a nice combination. Cena backs away looking to recover.
Buster gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Cena counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ghost Buster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Buster wants to stand and escape but Cena is having none of it.
Buster wants to sweep here but Cena controlling him for the moment.
Buster utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ghost Buster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
John Cena is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Buster throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

And that's the end of the fight!
John Cena comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Cena winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
