Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Clancey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zei Rulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zei Rulu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zei Rulu!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Rulu.
Clancey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rulu throws out the jab.
Clancey throws a looping overhand right but Rulu ducks down to avoid it.
Clancey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rulu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rulu wants to pass to mount but Clancey is defending the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rulu is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Rulu is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Clancey!
Rulu throws some wild stikes that Clancey manages to avoid easily.
Rulu sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Clancey really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Clancey is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Clancey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rulu scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Clancey?
Rulu content just to control the position here.

Rulu has hold of Clancey's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Clancey manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Clancey tries to lock up and control but Rulu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rulu controlling the pace for now.
Clancey tries to hold on but Rulu postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rulu with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The referee warns Clancey that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Rulu goes for an armbar but Clancey turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Clancey.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zei Rulu dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rulu shoots in for a double leg but Clancey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Clancey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rulu connects with a crisp jab.
