PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyun Shik Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hyun Shik Lim was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bryan Sousa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hyun Shik Lim!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Lim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sousa misses with a body shot.
Lim tries to clinch up.
Sousa leaves Lim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lim tries to clinch up but Sousa circles away and keeps his distance.
Lim throws a nice head kick!

Lim feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sousa sprawling to the canvas! Sousa rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lim finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lim cracks Sousa with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sousa tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lim pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sousa is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hyun Shik Lim!
