The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalabery tries for a takedown but Linden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kalabery drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kalabery missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Linden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kalabery on the ground.
Kalabery trying to control the position from guard on top but Linden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kalabery drops back, looking for a kneebar! Linden looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Linden looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Linden!

Linden throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kalabery works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Kalabery makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kalabery.
Linden is breathing heavily.
Linden missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kalabery bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Linden's guard.

Kalabery drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kalabery as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Linden screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kalabery! Nice submission victory there!
