Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bebeto blocks a head kick by Kidal.
Bebeto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bebeto misses with a takedown attempt - Kidal sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bebeto looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kidal wanted to stand there but Bebeto had control of the position.

Bebeto stalks Kidal and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kidal's face. Kidal staggers backwards, shaken.

Bebeto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bebeto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bebeto is defended easily by Kidal.

Kidal tries to close the distance and clinch but Bebeto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bebeto shoots for a takedown but Kidal saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kidal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bebeto paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The referee is keeping an eye on Kidal - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bebeto has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kidal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kidal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bebeto swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kidal gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kidal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bebeto on the ground.

Bebeto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kidal to the mat! Kidal manages to get full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bebeto goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kidal turns into him and now he's in Bebeto's guard.
Kidal has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bebeto is proving hard to escape from.
Pooper Kidal has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bebeto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kidal swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
