The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brookins to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Walter wants to get back to his feet but Brookins is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brookins forces his way into half guard.
Brookins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Walter is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Brookins has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Walter is tapping! This fight is all over!
