Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lasi Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Decadic Prefix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prefix is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Converge - Dark Horse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prefix fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kukko is out of range.
Kukko has a takedown stuffed.
Prefix swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Prefix just misses with a punch to the body.
Kukko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kukko misses with a low kick as Prefix jumps back.
Kukko throws a head kick that half lands.
The crowd cheers as Prefix lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kukko doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Lasi Kukko has been cut.
Kukko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kukko tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Prefix is not content to let Kukko control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kukko wants to control for a moment but Prefix uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Kukko is looking to stall here but Prefix recovers full guard.
Kukko has gone for a leg lock! Prefix slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kukko's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kukko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kukko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Prefix defends well.
Prefix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kukko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Prefix won't allow Kukko to sweep him here.
Kukko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Prefix!
Kukko tries to control but Prefix wriggling away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kukko controlling the pace for now.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lasi Kukko has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kukko defending well as Prefix loads up on a big left hand.
Kukko tries to clinch but Prefix is having none of it.
Kukko throws a leg kick but Prefix moved away.
A clash of legs there as Prefix blocks the low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lasi Kukko will probably get the nod.

Kukko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Prefix misses with a two punch combination.
Kukko shoots in looking for a takedown. Prefix tries to sprawl out of it but Kukko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prefix manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Prefix throws a body punch but Kukko moves out of range.
Prefix looks to score with a jab to the body but Kukko is just out of range.
Kukko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kukko slips a straight right by Prefix.
Kukko tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Prefix is able to avoid easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kukko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Prefix thows a left - swing and a miss!
Prefix throws a chopping leg kick but Kukko manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Decadic Prefix is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Prefix takes a swing at Kukko's ribcage but misses.
Kukko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Prefix misses with a straight left.
Prefix fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kukko manages to avoid it.
Prefix just misses with a punch to the body.
Prefix gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kukko seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kukko tries to pass the half guard into mount. Prefix knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prefix is refusing to be controlled, as Kukko sits in half guard.
Prefix wants to get back to his feet.

Prefix is looking for a sweep. Kukko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Prefix tries to lock up and control but Kukko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kukko tries to control but Prefix wriggling away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Prefix stops Kukko from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Prefix throws a looping overhand right but Kukko ducks down to avoid it.
Kukko throws a leg kick
and Prefix counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kukko is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Kukko looks for the body kick but Prefix saw that one coming.
Kukko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kukko turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Prefix feints and then cracks Kukko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kukko down.
Prefix throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kukko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Prefix.
Kukko has Prefix up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Prefix's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Prefix breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Prefix takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Kukko tries to clinch up but Prefix circles away and keeps his distance.
Prefix missing with a left hand there. Kukko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kukko avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kukko throws a head kick but Prefix moves out of range.
Kukko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Prefix.
Prefix closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Prefix looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kukko drives through and clinches with Prefix against the cage.
Prefix has had enough of the clinch but Kukko keeps him there for the moment.
Prefix breaks from the clinch.
Prefix misses with a looping right.
Kukko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Prefix. That did some damage!
Prefix takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kukko slips under a jab from Prefix.
Kukko throws a leg kick which misses Prefix's front leg but catches the back leg as Prefix tries to avoid it.
Prefix circles away from the clinch attempt
and Prefix counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kukko fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Prefix checks it well.
Prefix connects with a body shot.
Kukko will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Prefix scores with a shot to the body.
Prefix throws a series of punches but Kukko moves out of range.
Kukko looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Prefix!
Kukko trying to control but he's not successful this time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prefix can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kukko goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Prefix is on top in guard.
Prefix got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kukko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Prefix has managed to get both his arms back between Kukko's legs - danger averted.
Prefix has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kukko is proving hard to escape from.
Lasi Kukko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Prefix slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Decadic Prefix has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Prefix loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kukko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kukko is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Prefix is forced to tap! Great finish!
