Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aiden Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Smtih (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smtih shoots in looking for a takedown. Mays tries to sprawl out of it but Smtih keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mays manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mays throws a lazy right hand but Smtih sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Smtih keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Smtih has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smtih there as he acknowledges the shot.
A jab from Mays misses.
A big left from Mays misses.
Smtih shoots in and drives through. Mays sprawls well.
Smtih closes the distance and clinches up with Mays, looking for a takedown. Smtih pushes Mays against the cage but Mays circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aiden Mays has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Smtih.
Mays looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Smtih closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mays circles away.
Mays throws the left hand but Smtih avoids the punch easily.

Mays loads up on a big right hand but Smtih slips the punch.
Smtih takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smtih tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mays throws a nice looking combination but Smtih bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Smtih shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mays works his way to full guard. Good work.
Smtih stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mays swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smtih trying to move into half guard but instead Mays has managed to sweep!

Smtih looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Smtih has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Mays has passed into side control.
Smtih is trying to get back to half guard.
Smtih is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Mays works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mays wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smtih keeps working.
Smtih tries to buck Mays off but Mays is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A jab lands there for Mays.
Smtih shoots for a takedown but Mays saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mays misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mays scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Smtih seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Mays shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Smtih is backing up but Mays catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Smtih covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Mays Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
