PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dean Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and A Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes to the ring accompanied by Jaws theme remix. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Robinson.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Robinson is defended easily by Striker.
Robinson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Striker tries to avoid it but Robinson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Striker to the ground. Striker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Striker sprawls well. Striker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet.
Striker stuffs the takedown.
Robinson shoots for a takedown but Striker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Striker lunges at Robinson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Robinson's hand.
A jab lands there for Striker.
Striker throws a combination. Robinson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Striker throws a series of strikes that have Robinson backpedaling.
Striker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Striker leaves Robinson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A right-left combo lands from Striker.
Robinson fails with a takedown attempt.
Robinson is breathing heavily.
Striker scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Robinson is rocked!
Striker closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Robinson out cold! Robinson corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
