Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rakishi Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Cringle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rakishi Fatu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rakishi Fatu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cringle stuffs the takedown attempt from Fatu. Fatu gets slowly back to his feet.
Fatu shoots for a double leg takedown but Cringle sprawls well. He's pushed Fatu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fatu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cringle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cringle lands with a hook. Fatu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Fatu shoots in for a double leg but Cringle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rakishi Fatu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cringle leaves Fatu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fatu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cringle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fatu somewhat.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Fatu. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fatu might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Fatu takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cringle scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Oh Fatu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
