The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Madsen manages to avoid it.
Madsen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Mario Linic has been cut.
Madsen misses with a double jab.
Madsen misses with a hook. Linic ducked under it nicely.
Linic fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Madsen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Linic is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Madsen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Madsen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Madsen is breathing heavily.
Linic lands a slapping body shot.
Mario Linic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
