Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Long Duck!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Duck looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

No joy there for Roman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Roman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Duck throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roman was covering up waiting for the punch and Duck finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Duck postures up in Roman's guard and throws a big left but Roman blocks it.

Roman has control of Duck's left arm, preventing Duck from doing any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roman is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Roman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Duck is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Samuel Roman.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Roman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
