Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Laz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spencer Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reid has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston - Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, King Laz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Spencer Reid!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Laz. Reid does a little dance to reset his feet.
Laz misses with a hook.
Reid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Laz moves away.
Laz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Reid swinging wildly here.
Reid on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Laz. Laz obviously looking to wear him down.
Laz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reid tries to move into range but Laz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Spencer Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reid drops his hands momentarily and Laz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Reid misses the shot to the body.
Laz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reid was well out of range. Poor timing from Laz.

and Laz counters with a single leg into guard. Reid didn't expect that.
Reid wants to stand and escape but Laz is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Laz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reid wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Laz manages to pass to side control.
Reid wants to get back to his feet.
Laz passes to full mount!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reid can do anything to dispel that myth.
Reid is in a horrible position here. Laz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Reid wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Laz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Reid looks a forlorn figure.
Laz postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Reid in real trouble here! The ref calls for Reid to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). King Laz!
