Ivanovits comes to the cage accompanied by The Odorants - This Night. Carter has chosen Linkin Park - Faint as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Carter slips under a jab.
Ivanovits lands with a kick to the temple. Carter shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Carter bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ivanovits swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Carter tries to clinch but Ivanovits is having none of it.
Carter tries to clinch but Ivanovits moves out of range.
Ivanovits punishes Carter's body with a nice straight punch.
Carter is looking to clinch.
Carter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A left lands for Carter.
Ivanovits avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carter moves in looking to clinch but Ivanovits pushes him off.

Ivanovits pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Ivanovits loads up on a big right hand but Carter slips the punch.

Carter takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Carter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ivanovits ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carter moves away.
Ivanovits scores with a jab to the body.

Carter takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Carter looks gassed!
Ivanovits throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carter.
Ivanovits scores with a decent looking hook.
Ivanovits tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ivanovits stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Carter is rocked!
Carter closes the distance but Ivanovits moves to the side
and Ivanovits scores with a counter punch that sends Carter to the canvas! Ivanovits smells blood - he's punishing Carter with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Carter has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
