Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ginger Ayl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ayl comes to the cage accompanied by white lighting. Scott is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jay Z - Empire State Of Mind. Ginger Ayl has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ginger Ayl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Scott!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayl fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Scott misses with a looping right.
Ayl looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Scott is fending him off so far but Ayl persists. Nope, Scott circles away and we're back to standing.
Scott moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Scott throws a head kick that misses.
Scott swats away the attempt to clinch by Ayl.
Scott misses with a looping left.
Scott showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ayl.
Scott keeps the fight on the outside.
Scott lands with a straight right. Ayl didn't see that one coming.

Ayl has closed the distance and engaged Scott in a clinch.
Ayl lands a right hand that snaps the head of Scott backwards.

Ayl pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Scott takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Scott leaves Ayl with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ayl tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scott paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Scott throws a body punch but Ayl moves out of range.

Scott looks to score with a jab to the body but Ayl is just out of range.

Scott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ayl wants to get back to his feet.
Scott is trying to control. Ayl wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ayl on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ayl tries to get out of the position.

Scott seems to be looking for submissions.
Scott stops Ayl from getting back to his feet.

Scott is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ayl sees it coming and defends easily.

Scott is squirming around, avoiding Ayl's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott blocking the ground and pound.
Scott is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ayl throwing strikes here but Scott is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Ayl controlling the pace for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ayl trying to control but Scott is having none of it.

Ayl is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Scott has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Scott!

Ayl wants to stand but Scott is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Scott dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Scott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Scott scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Scott keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ayl takes one to the chin there.
Ginger Ayl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott cracks Ayl with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ayl rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ayl gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Scott counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Scott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Scott misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ayl.

and Scott finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ginger Ayl. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ayl ducks under a wild hook from Scott.
Ayl has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Scott finds it's way round the side to connect with Ayl's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scott lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Ayl slips a jab from Scott.

Scott lands a big head kick that sends Ayl tumbling to the mat! Scott takes a step backwards and waves Ayl back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Ayl is rocked!


It looks like Ginger Ayl has been cut.
Scott ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Ayl's jaw. Ayl's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Scott does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Scott!
