PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramiz Traktor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Techno Goliath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Traktor comes into the arena with Dies Irae blaring out of the sound system. Techno Goliath told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Traktor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Goliath uses from the top position.
Traktor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Goliath looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Traktor with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Traktor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Goliath can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Goliath with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Traktor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Goliath's guard.

Goliath is working an open guard so Traktor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Traktor tries for a takedown but Goliath sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramiz Traktor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goliath misses with a low kick.
Traktor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goliath is fending him off so far but Traktor persists. Nope, Goliath circles away and we're back to standing.

Traktor shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Traktor showed some decent athleticism there.

Goliath tries to lock up and control but Traktor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Goliath and Traktor goes tumbling to the canvas! Goliath follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Traktor turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Traktor manages to end up in side control.

Traktor has his feet on Goliath's thighs here. He's pushed Goliath off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Goliath screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
