The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rader sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Medins somewhat.

Rader lands a big head kick that sends Medins tumbling to the mat! Rader takes a step backwards and waves Medins back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Vaughn Rader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henrique Medins.
Medins switches off momentarily and Rader cracks him with a monster right hand! Medins topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Rader dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Rader!
