The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drakov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Drakov wants it to stay on the feet.

Velasquez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Velasquez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Drakov throws a right and a left that Velasquez avoids nicely.

Drakov lands a big head kick that sends Velasquez tumbling to the mat! Drakov takes a step backwards and waves Velasquez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Cain Velasquez has been cut.
Drakov lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Velasquez crumples to the floor! Drakov milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
