Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox has chosen Dope Boyz as his entrance music. Bisping has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kobe Cox has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox wants to clinch up but Bisping keeps it at a distance.
Bisping looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Cox feints and as Bisping raises his hands in defense, Cox changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cox stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cox misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cox changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bisping looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cox stands up and beckons Bisping to his feet.

Bisping seems a little lost for a moment, as Cox dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bisping dodges the ground and pound from Cox.

Cox walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bisping checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Cox gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cox tries to circle away but Bisping has him pinned against the cage.
Cox is trying to force a seperation but Bisping has the dominant position.
Cox is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bisping is defending well for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bisping got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cox has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bisping has managed to get both his arms back between Cox's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cox looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cox seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bisping looks like he's trying to stand up.

Cox tries to close the distance and clinch but Bisping swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
No joy there for Bisping, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cox dives in and grabs Bisping's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bisping pushes down on Cox's head and hops out.

Bisping is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cox defends well.

Cox would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bisping has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Cox off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cox tries to clinch there but Bisping circles away.
Left hook, right uppercut from Cox.
Cox shoots for a double leg takedown but Bisping sprawls well. He's pushed Cox's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cox looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bisping is fending him off so far but Cox persists. Nope, Bisping circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Bisping seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cox does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bisping gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Bisping throws a series of punches but Cox avoids them all with ease.
Cox throws a head kick that misses.
Bisping scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Cox takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Cox tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bisping sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cox somewhat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kobe Cox is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Cox lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bisping at a distance.

and Cox holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
