Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Tooley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Snuggle Wuggle!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Tooley.
Tooley ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tooley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Tooley throws the left hand but Wuggle avoids the punch easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Wuggle.
Nice shot by Tooley.
Tooley misses with an uppercut.
Tooley misses with a double jab.
Tooley pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wuggle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wuggle shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tooley is trying to defend but Wuggle finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Tooley wants to get back to his feet.
Tooley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wuggle on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wuggle wants to free his trapped foot but Tooley is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Wuggle uses his free foot to push down on Tooley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tooley.
Wuggle swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tooley is now in Wuggle's guard. A big mistake from Wuggle there, giving up the dominant position!
Tooley wants to stand but Wuggle has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wuggle has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tooley should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Wuggle has tightened it up now! Tooley should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Snuggle Wuggle!
