Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Red Buckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Padeiro Chucro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chucro has chosen Nikolay Emelin - Rus as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chucro throws a hook but Buckles avoids it easily.

Buckles shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Buckles showed some decent athleticism there.

Buckles is trying to work for a kimura but Chucro is defending well.

Buckles is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chucro doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Buckles.

Buckles is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chucro is just riding it out for now. Buckles eventually gives up the hold.

Buckles has his foot on Chucro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chucro works his way back into a safe position though.
