Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Taisto Koylio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rhodes has chosen Yah Trick Yah as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koylio shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Rhodes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Koylio is surviving well by controlling Rhodes's body position as best he can.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

You can see the frustration on Koylio's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rhodes tries to close the distance and clinch but Koylio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rhodes moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Koylio attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Koylio lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Koylio throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Rhodes fails with a takedown attempt.

Koylio stuffs the takedown attempt from Rhodes. Rhodes gets slowly back to his feet.

Taisto Koylio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Rhodes.

Koylio goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Koylio cracks the inside of Rhodes's front leg.

Rhodes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Koylio can pounce on him.

Koylio lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Koylio is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rhodes is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Koylio to the mat. Koylio regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
