Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Wallakowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Ducks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ducks has chosen Clawfinger - Vienna as his entrance music. Frank Ducks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruce Wallakowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Ducks!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wallakowski is defended easily by Ducks.
Wallakowski shoots for a double leg takedown but Ducks sprawls well. He's pushed Wallakowski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ducks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ducks throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Wallakowski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ducks's waist but Ducks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallakowski off to one side.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wallakowski. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Wallakowski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ducks tries to avoid it but Wallakowski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ducks to the ground. Ducks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wallakowski is looking for a kimura but Ducks is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wallakowski to get the leverage.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wallakowski holds on and takes a little breather.

Wallakowski has his foot on Ducks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ducks works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ducks gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Wallakowski shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ducks napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Wallakowski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Wallakowski is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ducks has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ducks is trying to buck Wallakowski off.

Wallakowski swings around for an armbar but Ducks sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wallakowski's guard.
