The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stone misses with a double jab
and Gandhi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Sammy Stone has been cut.

Gandhi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stone has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gandhi finds it's way round the side to connect with Stone's head.

Gandhi looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
Gandhi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A looping hook to the body misses from Gandhi. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet.

Gandhi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gandhi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stone knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stone wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Gandhi with the ground and pound but Stone regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Gandhi throws a strike but Stone avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Gandhi passes Stone's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Gandhi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gandhi tries to pass to full mount but Stone defends it.
Gandhi misses with a head shot. Stone uses the momentum to regain guard.
Gandhi throws and elbow that misses. Stone uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gandhi's guard. Nice move by Stone!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gandhi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stone is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mahatma Gandhi dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

and Stone counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gandhi is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Stone lands a left and a right that send Gandhi crashing to the mat, dazed. Stone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gandhi is rocked!
Stone throws a series of punches but Gandhi avoids them all with ease.
Gandhi is still on wobbly legs! Can Stone finish him?

Gandhi misses with an uppercut
and Stone counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Gandhi falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
