Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baeddan Mc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Timbau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mc comes to the cage accompanied by The Choice Is Yours (This or That) by Black Sheep. Antonio Timbau has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Baeddan Mc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antonio Timbau!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Timbau closes the distance and clinches.
Mc is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Timbau pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Timbau wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Mc jumps into guard, dragging Timbau to the mat.
Timbau trying to control but Mc is working from the bottom.
Timbau preventing the sweep.
Timbau stands up out of Mc's guard for a moment - Mc manages to land a nice upkick.
Mc not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Timbau connects with a couple of short punches.
Timbau wanted to stand there but Mc had control of the position.

Timbau is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mc is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mc has escaped and now he's on top!
Mc wants to control from the top but Timbau keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mc is looking to work some ground and pound but Timbau has wrist control.
Mc scoring with some ground and pound.
Mc looking to sit in guard and control but Timbau gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mc is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mc manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Timbau manages to get himself to full guard.
Mc slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mc trying to control the position from guard on top but Timbau is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mc postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Timbau should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mc throwing strikes but missing.
Mc is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mc is pushing down on Timbau's leg trying to pass to half guard. Timbau is fighting to maintain full guard but Mc has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mc is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Timbau doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mc.
Mc is trying to control the action in half guard but Timbau is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Mc stops Timbau from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mc is working for a submission of some sort.
Mc is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.


It looks like Antonio Timbau has been cut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Timbau tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Mc manages to move to mount!
Timbau is in a horrible position here. Mc smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Mc wants to control the pace but Timbau is squirming around nicely.

Mc looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Baeddan Mc dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Antonio Timbau's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Mc tries to clinch up.
Mc wants to clinch
and Timbau counters with a series of strikes. Mc will be more careful next time no doubt.
No joy there for Timbau, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mc slaps away a takedown attempt from Timbau, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick by Mc - that's a beauty! Timbau is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Mc can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Baeddan Mc!
