Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Predator Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and A Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Savage Harpsichord . On his way into the cage it seems that Predator Burns has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Predator Burns seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns misses with a body shot.
A slow jab from Striker misses its intended target.
Burns misses with a head kick.
Burns has a takedown stuffed.
Striker moves out of range of the strikes.
Burns takes the fight into the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Burns.
Striker working hard to break the clinch.
Burns throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Strikers head.
A right handed body shot lands from Burns.
Striker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Burns has him pressed against the cage.
Burns jumps guard.
Striker wants to stand and escape but instead Burns has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burns passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Burns is looking to take a break and control but Striker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Striker is looking to regain half guard here but Burns keeps moving and retains side control.
Striker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Burns is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Striker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Striker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Striker is looking for a sweep.

Burns tries to advance to mount but Striker denies him.
Burns wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Striker, who protects the arm well.
Burns working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Burns looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Burns is breathing heavily.
Burns tries to move to mount but Striker blocks the move with his legs.
Burns has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Striker!

Striker really wants to buck Burns off and get back to his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Striker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Burns takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Burns takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Burns throws a looping overhand right but Striker ducks down to avoid it.
Striker throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Striker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Burns moves in looking to clinch but Striker pushes him off.

Burns misses with an uppercut. Striker saw that one coming.
Striker throws a hook to the side of Burns's head but Burns sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fighters circling - Striker throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Striker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Striker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Burns.

Burns shoots in but Striker avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Striker throws a shot from downtown. Burns moves away and avoids it.
Burns tries to clinch there but Striker circles away.
Striker cracks Burns with an open hand slap.
Burns ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

A Striker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Predator Burns's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Burns throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Burns shoots in looking for a takedown. Striker tries to sprawl out of it but Burns keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Striker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Striker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Striker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Striker throws a series of punches but Burns avoids them all with ease.

Striker might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Horrible takedown by Burns or perhaps it was just good defense by Striker which made him look bad.
