Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cal Tennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by nas hate me now. Roy Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Cal Tennant!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennant keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tennant closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Tennant pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jackson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Tennant counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Tennant looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tennant drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tennant jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jackson seems keen to control Tennant's posture.

Tennant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson misses with a takedown

and Tennant counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roy Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tennant is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jackson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jackson shrugs it off.
Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tennant tries to roll over but Jackson keeps him under control.

Tennant is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Jackson is tapping! Great win for Tennant!
