Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalidov's entrance music is Punks Jump Up To Get Beatdown. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Khalidov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Al Capone!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capone loads up on a big right hand but Khalidov slips the punch.
Capone lands a nice hook to Khalidov's body. Khalidov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Both fighters circling a little - Khalidov finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Khalidov scores with a leg kick.
Al Capone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Capone lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Capone blocks a leg kick.
Capone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Khalidov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Capone stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Capone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Khalidov.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khalidov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Capone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Capone takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Khalidov throws a predictable looking body shot
and Capone counters with a thumping low kick.
Khalidov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Khalidov.
Capone looks gassed!
A swing and a miss from Khalidov.
Khalidov misses with a body shot.
Khalidov lands a glancing blow to the side of Capone's head.
Khalidov misses with a head kick.
Khalidov blocks a low kick nicely.
Fedor Khalidov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Khalidov connects with a crisp jab.
Khalidov ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Khalidov connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Capone throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Capone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Khalidov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Capone takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Capone tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Khalidov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Capone has time to react.
Capone takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Khalidov connects with a solid leg kick.
Khalidov lands a nice shot that snaps Capone's head back.
Capone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Khalidov throws out the jab.
Capone checks a leg kick nicely.
Khalidov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Khalidov is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Capone throws a leg kick
and Khalidov counters with a straight right hand.
Khalidov digs a good body shot into Capone's ribs.

and Capone counters with an outside leg kick.
Khalidov scores with a punch to the head.
A jab from Capone misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khalidov scores with a sloppy right hand. Capone should have avoided that one.
Capone is rocked!
Khalidov throws an uppercut from hell that sends Capone clean off his feet! He's out cold! Khalidov stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fedor Khalidov!
