Lappavirta will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lappavirta shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fekt pinned against the cage. Fekt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fekt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lappavirta uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fekt.
Fekt jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fekt tests Lappavirta's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Juha Lappavirta has been cut.
Lappavirta tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fekt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lappavirta somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juha Lappavirta. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lappavirta throws an overhand right that lands on Fekt's shoulder, as Fekt tries to avoid the shot.
Fekt ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lappavirta is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Fekt knocks Lappavirta out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
