Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pik scores with a one two! Williams had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Billy Williams has been cut.
Pik throws a series of punches but Williams moves out of range.
Williams drops his hands momentarily and Pik takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pik misses with a body kick.
Williams shoots for a takedown but Pik saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Pik creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Williams sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pik remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Pik gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pik using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Williams has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

and Pik counters with a thumping low kick.

and Pik holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Pik will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Williams up against the cage.

Pik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pik walks away with a smile on his face. Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pik throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Williams tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pik smiles and moves away.

Pik clinches.
Williams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pik pulls his leg out and moves away.

Pik has taken the fight to the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Pik.
Pik lands an elbow inside.

Pik breaks the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pik misses with a series of wild punches.

Pik lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Pik is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Williams can't fight it off and eventually Pik manages to take the fight to the floor. Williams looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Williams looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pik has picked Williams up and slammed him! Williams can't keep hold of the triangle and Pik manages to pass to side control!

Pik is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Pik eventually gives up the hold.

Well Pik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
