The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rosusu scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Bass tries to get to full guard but Rosusu has control of the leg.
Bass is trying to control but can't.
Bass tries to roll over but Rosusu keeps him under control.
Bass tries to kick Rosusu off but Rosusu keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Bass kicks Rosusu off and gets back to his feet.
Rosusu misses with a double jab.

Bass looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rosusu!

Bass moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rosusu has worked his arm free - good work by Rosusu!
Bass in side control, throwing shots but Rosusu defends.

Rosusu tries to bench press Bass off him but Bass keeps the position.

Bass thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bass looks gassed!
Rosusu wants to control but Bass postures up.
Bass throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Rosusu is looking for a sweep.
Rosusu is working hard here to advance position.
Rosusu stops Bass from passing to mount.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Rosusu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bass should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rosusu tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bass knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bass is staying active underneath Rosusu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bass looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rosusu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bass is looking for a sweep. Rosusu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bass is refusing to be controlled, as Rosusu sits in half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bass throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Rosusu colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Bass as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Rosusu is left battered and dazed whilst Bass and his camp cheer!
