Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Syd Scarr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grzegorz Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Materla is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by kavkaz eta sila . Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Materla but Materla pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Scarr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Materla's sensitive parts.

Materla closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Scarr quickly recovers to half guard.

You can see the frustration on Materla's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Horrible takedown by Materla or perhaps it was just good defense by Scarr which made him look bad.
Syd Scarr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Materla takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Scarr lands with a kick to the temple. Materla shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Scarr bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Materla's head backwards.

Scarr lands a left and a right that send Materla crashing to the mat, dazed. Scarr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Materla is still on wobbly legs! Can Scarr finish him?
Scarr moves into the clinch successfully.

Materla seems to have recovered his senses.
Scarr tries a knee to the head but Materla blocks it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Materla blocks an elbow strike.
Scarr pushes off an throws an elbow but Materla leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Scarr using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Materla has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Materla is looking for a sweep.
Materla is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Materla wants to control but Scarr passes into side.

Well Scarr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
