Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rolando Mann!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobis throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Mann closes the distance and pushes Nobis back into the cage.
Nobis is looking to break free of the clinch but Mann has double underhooks.

Mann jumps guard and drags Nobis to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Nobis wanted to stand there but Mann had control of the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nobis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Nobis gets to his feet. Mann looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Nobis drops Mann with a beautiful combination! Mann stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nobis is looking for the KO!

and Nobis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mann won't be happy with that.

Mann tries to buck Nobis off but Nobis is having none of it.

Nobis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mann is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mann seems to have recovered his senses.
Nobis in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mann is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Nobis's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Nobis decides to stand up.

Mann takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mann misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nobis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mann wants to clinch.

Mann fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nobis sprawls well initially but Mann persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mann is looking to take a break and control but Nobis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nobis wants to get back to full guard.
Nobis is trying to stand up here but Mann is controlling him well.
Nobis is concentrating on defense, preventing Mann from advancing position.

Nobis tries to kick Mann off but Mann keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rolando Mann hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Mann looks like he's trying to stand up.

Mann controls Nobis momentarily but Nobis frees himself.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mann holds on and takes a little breather.

Nobis lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Nobis gets to his feet - Mann follows without any prompting.
An inside leg kick from Mann misses.
Nobis throws a combination. Mann tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nobis lands with a big left! Mann is wobbled badly! Nobis comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Mann to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
