The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abieezer shoots in for a takedown but Montague shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Montague shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abieezer pinned against the cage. Abieezer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Montague counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Montague.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Montague wants to control from the top but Abieezer keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Abieezer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Montague's guard.
Abieezer stands and throws Montague's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Abieezer is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Montague is trying to escape and Abieezer transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Montague is forced to tap! Nice work there by Abieezer! Very nice indeed!
